2008 FINE FOOD SHOW IN MELBOURNE

Jeff’s shed buzzed with over 1,000 stands in late September and Angelicus was one of the few Western Australian wineries that took part.  John and Sue with Nigel’s help were able to showcase their boutique range of wines to a large number of local and international buyers with a great deal of success.  It was a very busy four days and we had a great time meeting lots of new people who enjoy seeking out wines from small makers and including them in their wine lists and liquor outlets.

Restaurant 08 Sydney

This was the first time that Angelicus Wines was shown to the Sydney market at this Show for the Hospitality Industry in Hall of Industries at Fox Studios.  The two day show allowed us to show some of the top restaurants in Sydney our boutique wines.

2008 Good Food and Wine Show

Our Stand at the Perth Good Food & Wine Show, held at the Perth Exhibition Centre, 11 – 13 July 2008 was buzzing.

The latest release of the Panis sparkling and our newly released 2006 Angelicus Chardonnay were both popular. We enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new ones!

 

And in 2007...

The Perth Convention Centre was a buzz on the 6th of July as the Convention centre came to life in preparation for the 2007 Food and Wine Show. As promised, the Angelicus crew were there, sporting our signature black and white and preparing ourselves for the weekend ahead.

 

Heady aromas of coffee, truffles and the clinking of wine glasses punctuated by the popping of our corks on the Panis and the happy chatter of visitors to the Event continue to build every year.  There was an air of expectation among the exhibitors as they prepared their stands for a marvellous Event on the wine and food calendar of Perth.

 

This was the second year that we have taken part in the Perth Food and Wine show and as always it was very rewarding to see the response from visitors to our Stand, those who were rekindling their acquaintance and making the most of the opportunity to sample our new releases and those who were taking advantage of this chance to be introduced to and learn about the wines from Angelicus.

 

As usual our 2006 Panis Sparkling was a hit and even with the three bottle limit we were pleased with the number of orders and purchases made during the weekend.  The particular star of the Food and Wine Show was our Pinot Noir with marvellous comments received and many purchases made of both the 2004 Angelicus Pinot Noir and the 2005 Angelicus Pinot Noir.

 

We would like to thank everyone who came by the stand to say ‘hi’, taste the wines, and show their support for one of Pemberton’s boutique wineries and we look forward to seeing you next year in what is sure to be even bigger and better Event in mid July 2008.  

Bunbury Tasting
On the eve of April 13^th Vat 2 in Bunbury, Western Australia came alive with the launch of our new Panis. The evening focused on allowing our customers to taste the new Angelicus Panis and gave us an opportunity to display our current lines as well. A mix of local businesses, loyal customers and others involved in the winery socialized late into the evening.

The entertainment provided on the evening was a perfect compliment to the wining and dining and proved to be a great success. Thanks to all who joined us for our launch and we look forward to seeing you at our Winter Christmas Dinner .
